The Academy is directed by Ms Rashanthi Hettiarachchi, who has graduated from the University of Visual & Performing Arts in Colombo,Sri Lanka.
She is an outstanding mentor of dancing who has revolutionaries in Sri Lankan Traditional Dancing. Currently there are 35 kids in training for cultural dancing and drumming. The students of Rangara Performing Arts have been performing within and outside of the community and the academy is well recognized for its very creative performances.
So far, their efforts have been very succesful and could create long lasting memories with its iconic dancing and drumming performances complying with its slogan "Keeping Traditional Sri Lankan Dancing, Culture & Heritage in North America.". We are always happy to welcome new students, as we are trying to be a huge success until the very end!
